First Alone Flight

Today we sent Sean off to Utah for some fun with his sisters and BYU Baseball Camp. He was very excited but he did not want me taking pictures at the airport--so I had to sneak two. There he goes -- "Good-Bye Sean, we love you!"

We will be joining him on Wednesday the first of July for 4th of July festivities. Children grow up soooo quickly.

Another Great Day in Houston Texas

In the afternoon we packed a picnic and headed for the city to the Museum District for some leisure time. We began our adventure at the Sam Houston Reflecting Pool Park. As soon as we arrived and found a nice spot to picnic a little friend came to visit. Daniel is feeding him (or her) a fishie cracker.

Adorable!!He would come right up to the boys hands to get the cracker. They were amazed. This is what happens when humans are mixed among the wildlife.
It was a beautiful day.
I was soooo happy to get pictures of Sean wearing something besides gym shorts and a t-shirt. He's a pretty handsome guy.
Relaxing with his sister.
Playing in the fountain water.

Bouncing on a very large tree branch.

Unusual geese. They were very funny. They walked and talked together. Maybe they're in love.April wanted to walk with them as well. If there was one more person or creature in the picture we could have had the album cover of 'Abby Road'. (The Beatles)
When then ventured over to the paddle boats and took an amusing ride. Daniel and Sean peddled and steered.
Sean can never be parted from texting - we must always be in contact with the outside world.

April and I enjoyed the ride very much, except for the part when the boys took us under the water fountain.
More wildlife.
This is an interesting creature. We found out it is a Water-Rat. It turned out to be another great day with my children in Houston Texas.

April wanted one more run with the pigeons before going home.

April's Recital

April had her first official recital. She sang three songs: Candle on the Water, Good-Morning Baltimore, & Hey, Hobo Man. I goofed up the recording of Candle on the Water, and you have already heard Hey, Hobo Man on an earlier blog so here is 'Good-Morning Baltimore'.

April has a wonderful teacher (Debbie Siebert), she has gotten April to do great things. We enjoyed some ice-cream sundaes after their performance.

Cutie girls - Bethany, April & Sadie
Sean's just chill'n waiting for us to go.
Daniel spent some time with his good friend Mackey.
