Happy Birthday Sean!

This is what happens when you hit the age of not wanting your parents to pick out anything for you. Actually mostly clothes. So Sean did receive presents but they just weren't wrapped. We went shopping together and he picked out some clothes (among other things). All in all it turned out pretty well for the 17 year old boy.

Sean wanted lots of chocolate pie . . . . then we decided to just put it into dishes. Just as long as it was chocolate and creamy he was fine. What a great teenager you have turned out to be, we sure love you, happy birthday Sean!

The River

We had a lot of rain plus warmer temperatures that melt our snow quickly. The river on the side of our house swelled quickly. We just couldn't believe how fast it moved and how far it went over its banks. The kids of course love it. They thought it was very cool. This picture is from our bedroom window. It looks like an island in the middle of the river but that's how far over the water came. It should only be flowing on the left side.

Daniel is taking some video shots as well. It's just amazing.
